Their goal was to create an attractive horizontal wood fence capable of safely containing large dogs while incorporating durable custom-built steel gates that complemented the property's rural character. We designed a complete solution combining a taller-than-standard fence, custom fabricated steel gates, and black vinyl-coated welded wire for dependable pet containment.

Custom fabricated steel gates built in our welding shop with welded wire inserts, then painted and installed on-site.
Design & Fabrication
Rather than using off-the-shelf gates, we fabricated matching steel gates in our welding shop specifically for this project. Each gate included welded cattle panel inserts along with self-closing and self-latching hardware to improve both convenience and security.
After fabrication, the gates were carefully prepared, painted, and installed to match the overall appearance of the fence.

Pet Containment Solution
Because the homeowner has large dogs, a traditional 4-board fence would not provide adequate containment.
To solve this, we:
- Increased the fence height to 5 feet.
- Installed black vinyl-coated welded wire on the inside of the fence.
- Maintained the attractive appearance of the horizontal wood fence while significantly improving pet security.
